Description of the concentration
The notified concentration is the acquisition by Macquarie Holdings (U.S.A.) Inc. of the Cargill Petroleum business, comprised of assets owned by Cargill Incorporated (U.S.A.), Cargill International SA (Switzerland), Cargill International Trading Pte Ltd. (Singapore), and Cargill Trading (Shanghai) Ltd. (China), which relate to the trading and marketing of petroleum products.
Macquarie Holdings (U.S.A.) Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Macquarie Group Limited which is an A- rated (Fitch Ratings) global provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and funds management services with offices in 27 countries.
