SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
ASSC and Gonvarri plan to acquire joint control, within the meaning of Articles 3(1) (b) and 3(4) of the EC Merger Regulation, over ASSC Slovakia, a company based and registered in Slovakia.
The main business activities of the undertakings to the concentration are:
• for Arcelor Mittal: flat carbon steel, long carbon steel, stainless steel, pipes and tubes and steel related services;
• for Corporación Gestamp: steel processing and distribution and the design, development and manufacture of metal parts for motor vehicles.
• for ASSC Slovakia: steel processing and distribution in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
