Description of the concentration
The notified concentration involves the proposed acquisition by funds managed by Bain Capital Investors, L.L.C. of sole control of Reifen Krieg GmbH and related entities within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the EU Merger Regulation.
Bain Capital is a private equity investment firm that invests, through its family of funds, in companies on a worldwide basis across most industries, including information technology, healthcare, retail and consumer products, communications, financial and industrial/manufacturing.
Reifen Krieg Group is predominantly active in the supply of replacement tyres in Germany.
