Description of the concentration
1.On 30 November 2020, the European Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 139/2004 involving the acquisition by China Baowu Steel Group Corporation Limited ("China Baowu") of sole control over Taiyuan Iron and Steel (Group) Company Ltd ("TISCO").
2.China Baowu and TISCO are principally active in the manufacture and sale of steel products. Their business operations are mainly focused on China.
