Description of the concentration
Funds managed by Ardian SAS (“Ardian”) intend to acquire - through one or more special purpose vehicles - 90% of the shares in and sole control over Weber Automotive GmbH (“Weber Automotive”) from Weber Automotive AG - Holding.
-- Ardian is an independent private investment firm based in Paris which manages several funds that specialize in private equity investment and asset management for institutional investors.
-- Weber Automotive manufactures and sells automotive components, in particular, machined power train components, including engine blocks, cylinder heads, transmission housings and casings, as well as other parts, to the specifications of its customers.
