The Court of Justice of the European Union is requested to give a preliminary ruling, in the light of the arguments of the parties, on the interpretation to be given to Article 4(1) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3665/87 of 27 November 1987 (1) and Article 19(1)(a) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 2220/85 of 22 July 1985, (2) in relation to the ‘release’ of the security provided in the context of Article 22(1) of Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3665/87.
