Description of the concentration

General Motors France SAS and SSPF SAS are contemplating the acquisition of joint control of ADP – Auto Distribution Provence. ADP will be active in the area of Aix-en-Provence in the retail distribution of Opel branded passenger cars and commercial vehicles, used vehicles and maintenance and repair services and in the provision of Opel branded products and services.

SSPF SAS is a holding company of the Maurin Group. The Maurin Group is active in the retail distribution of motor vehicles and related products and services. The Maurin Group is also active in the wholesale distribution of original equipment (OE) spare parts of various brands.

General Motors France SAS is a subsidiary of General Motors Company. General Motors Company and its subsidiaries are active in the manufacture, supply and distribution of motor vehicles and GM branded OE spare parts. General Motors France SAS’s main activity is the importation and wholesale distribution of GM branded vehicles and the supply of GM branded OE spare parts in France.
