In accordance with Article 27 [(1) and (2)] of Directive 2004/38/EC, does the appellant, sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment for repeated offences of child abuse, represent a genuine and present threat to public security, bearing in mind that he is detained in prison and, having served six years, has several years left to serve before being released?
