SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
Advent, a globally acting private equity investor intends to acquire, through several funds controlled by it, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the EC Merger Regulation sole control of the German company GFKL Financial Services AG, by way of purchase of shares.
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

For Advent: private equity investor;
•
For GFKL: receivables management and software applications.
Under paragraph 5(c) of European Commission Notice on a simplified procedure for treatment of certain concentrations under Council Regulation (EC) 139/2004, the concentration is eligible for a simplified procedure.
