SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
This transaction concerns the acquisition of sole control by Honeywell International Inc. over the Elster Division of Melrose PLC. Both parties are global suppliers of integrated systems and components such as valves, burners and meters for heating applications and the measurement and the regulation of gas as it is transported through the value chain. In addition, Elster also manufactures and supplies electricity and water metering products.
