SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
1.The Commission received notification of the proposed acquisition by Hanon Systems (“Hanon”) of part of Magna International Inc.’s (“Magna”) fluid pressure and controls business (“Rotor”, together with Hanon, the “Parties”) (the “Transaction”).
2.Hanon is a Korea-based company mainly engaged in the manufacture and supply of automotive thermal management systems worldwide (also known as climate control systems).
3.Rotor provides car manufacturers (OEMs) with cooling and pump technology to support OEM emission reduction and thermal management needs.
