Description of the concentration
The notified concentration involves the proposed acquisition of sole control by funds advised by Hellman & Friedman LLC (“Hellman & Friedman”) of the Cordis business of Cardinal Health, Inc. (respectively “Cordis” and “Cardinal Health”) (the “Proposed Transaction”).

Cordis is a developer and manufacturer of interventional vascular technology, with operations in countries around the world. Cordis is currently part of the Cardinal Health group. Cardinal Health is a distributor of pharmaceuticals, a global manufacturer and distributor of medical and laboratory products, and a provider of performance and data solutions for health care facilities. It has operations in more than 40 countries and approximately 48,000 employees globally.
