Description of the concentration
This notification concerns the following undertakings:
(a) KKR & Co. Inc. (together with its subsidiaries, “KKR”), Delaware, United States; and
(b) Encavis AG (“Encavis”), Hamburg, Germany.
On 6 June 2024, KKR notified its intention to acquire indirect sole control of Encavis, within the meaning of Articles 3(1)(b) of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004.
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are as follows:
(a) KKR is a global investment firm that offers alternative asset management as well as capital markets and insurance solutions.
(b) Encavis is primarily active as an independent power provider in Europe, which acquires and operates renewable energy assets including wind parks and solar (photovoltaic) panels.
