SECTION 1.2

Description of the concentration

On 13 July 2015, ManpowerGroup, Inc. (“ManpowerGroup”) notified a transaction whereby it intends to acquire sole control of 7S Group GmbH (“7S Group”) within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) EUMR. ManpowerGroup, headquartered in the US, is a publicly-traded company on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). It is a global provider of employment services and workforce solutions, including recruitment and assessment, training and development, career management, outsourcing and workforce consulting services. It operates about 3,000 offices in 80 countries with around 26,000 employees. 7S Group, based in Germany, is a provider of employment services in the form of temporary and permanent employment services, contract work services and HR consultancy services. In the EEA, 7S Group is active in Austria, Belgium, Finland, Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Poland and Slovakia. It employs approx. 8,000 people and operates approx. 200 branches, production facilities, technical offices and customer centers, most of them located in Germany.
