Description of the concentration
The notified Transaction concerns the acquisition of sole control by BNP Paribas over Fortis Commercial Finance Holding.
BNP Paribas is a French listed banking group with operations in more than 84 countries across Europe, North and South America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. BNP Paribas has three core banking businesses: retail banking, asset management and services, and corporate and investment banking.
Fords Commercial Finance Holding is a company specialized in the factoring business, especially in several countries within the European Union. It currently belongs to the ABN AMRO Group.
