Description of the concentration
This notification relates to the creation of a proposed joint venture between MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc (“MOL”) and JSC KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (“KMG EP”) to explore for oil and gas within the North Karpovsky block in Kazakhstan. KMG EP is majority owned by JSC National Company KazMunaiGas ("NC KMG").
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
— for MOL: oil and gas related activities;
— for KMG EP and NC KMG: oil and gas related activities.
