Description of the concentration
This notification relates to the proposed acquisition of sole control by BlackRock, Inc. (“BlackRock”) of Barclays Global Investors UK Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries (collectively “BGI”).
BlackRock is a US publicly traded company active in the provision of global asset management, risk management and advisory services to institutional and retail clients.
BGI is a UK company and is currently organized as a business division of the Barclays group. BGI provides global asset management products and services primarily to institutional clients.
