(Amicable settlement – Removal from the register)

Application: brought under Articles 236 EC and 152 EA, in which Mr Rounis seeks, first, annulment of the Commission’s decision of 20 April 2005 rejecting his complaint, submitted on 16 December 2004, against the Commission’s decision of 21 September 2004 refusing to allow him to transfer part of his salary to the United Kingdom intended to pay the university fees for his daughter for the period from November 2003 to October 2004, and annulment of that decision of 21 September 2004, and, secondly, compensation for the material and non-material damage which he claims to have suffered as a result of those decisions.

Held: Case F‑78/05 Rounis v Commission is removed from the register. The Commission is ordered to bear its own costs and to pay EUR 10 000 towards Mr Rounis’ costs.
