Description of the concentration
Líoperazione prospettata ha ad oggetto la costituzione di una joint venture tra Pirelli & C.
Ambiente Renewable Energy S.p.A. (ìPAREî) e ACEA S.p.A. (ìACEAî), che operer‡ nel
settore delle fonti energetiche rinnovabili e, in particolare, nel recupero energetico di rifiuti solidi
urbani, attraverso la produzione di combustibile di qualit‡ (c.d. CDR-Q) in alcune regioni italiane.
Líoperazione in questione non comporta alcun effetto di rilievo sulla concorrenza nei mercati
della produzione e vendita di CDR-Q e dellíapprovvigionamento allíingrosso di energia elettrica
in cui operano rispettivamente PARE e ACEA.
