By her action under Article 270 TFEU, the applicant seeks, first, annulment of the decision of the European Commission of 20 May 2022 demoting her from grade AST 2, step 3 to grade AST 1, step 3, with effect from 1 June 2022 and, second, compensation for the material and non-material harm she allegedly suffered as a result.

Operative part of the judgment

The Court:

1.Annuls the decision of the European Commission of 20 May 2022 demoting VO from grade AST 2, step 3 to grade AST 1, step 3, with effect from 1 June 2022;

2.Orders the Commission to pay VO EUR 533.88 in compensation of the material harm suffered;

3.Dismisses the action as to the remainder;

4.Orders the Commission to pay the costs.
