Description of the concentration
The proposed concentration consists in the acquisition of sole control by Yanfeng Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. ("Yanfeng") over a joint venture company which will combine the automotive interiors business of Yanfeng and of Johnson Controls, Inc. (“JCI”). Yanfeng is a specialised automotive products manufacturer established in China. It manufactures automotive interior and exterior products, as well as seating, electronics and safety systems.
JCI is a global supplier of automotive products and systems and of facility management and control systems and services. JCI's interiors business is currently part of JCI's Automotive Experience division, which manufactures and sells various components for automotive interiors, including door panels, instrument panels and floor consoles.
