Description of the concentration

VION N.V. is active in the purchase and slaughtering of livestock, the processing, production and sale of meat products as well as derived convenience food products and ingredients. VION is established in Best, the Netherlands. Weyl is a beef and calf processing company, established in Enschede, the Netherlands.

VION will acquire, subject to competition authority approval, sole control over Weyl Beef Products B.V. and certain of its group companies. The Parties consider that the proposed transaction raises no competition concerns.
