SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The RWE / E.ON Transfer Assets Concentration concerns the acquisition of sole control within the meaning of Article 3(1) of the EUMR by RWE of: (i) substantially all of E.ON’s renewables business; and (ii) E.ON’s minority interests in two RWE-majority owned and operated nuclear power plants in Germany. The primary business activities of the undertakings concerned are the generation, distribution, trade and retail supply of energy.
