Le 14 septembre 2007, la Commission a reÁu notification díun projet de concentration, conformément ‡ líarticle 4 du RËglement Concentration, consistant en la crÈation par EDF …nergies Nouvelles et Alcofinance díune entreprise commune de plein exercice : Alcogroup. Les activitÈs des entreprises concernÈes sont les suivantes :
o Le groupe EDF est prÈsent sur líensemble des mÈtiers de líÈlectricitÈ, en ce compris la production díÈnergie renouvelable par líintermÈdiaire de sa filiale EDF …nergies Nouvelles. Il est par ailleurs un nouvel entrant dans le secteur du gaz.
o EDF …nergies Nouvelles est une sociÈtÈ active dans la production díÈnergie renouvelable ‡ partir de quatre filiËres: líÈolien, líhydraulique, la biomasse et le solaire.
o Alcofinance est active via la sociÈtÈ Alcogroup dans la production, la distribution et la vente díÈthanol.
LíopÈration notifiÈe concerne la production et la distribution díÈthanol.
