La Française des Jeux et le Groupe Lucien Barrière ont notifié a la Commission européenne la création d'une entreprise commune qui aura pour activité la conception et l'exploitation d'un site Internet de poker en ligne et la commercialisation de jeux de poker en ligne une fois que le marché français sera ouvert à la concurrence (activité BtoC). L'entreprise commune développera également des logiciels de jeux de poker et de casino en ligne pour une commercialisation en BtoB.
