SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
On 21 June 2017, Energetický a průmyslový holding, a.s. (“EPH”) agreed to acquire from Centrica plc. by way of purchase of shares sole control of Centrica Langage Ltd. and Centrica SHB Ltd. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are: EPH: utility company engaged in coal extraction, electricity and heat production, distribution and supply as well as gas supply in several EU Member States; Centrica Langage Ltd. and Centrica SHB Ltd.: two gas-fired power plants in the UK with an installed capacity of approx. 2,215 MW.
