Description of the concentration
The notification concerns the proposed acquisition of sole control over Telge Energi AB by Fortum Market AB within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) EU Merger Regulation.
Fortum Markets AB is part of the Finnish-based energy group Fortum, majority-owned by the Finnish state and listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. Fortum is active especially in power generation, offering energy solutions to consumers and enterprises as well as circular solutions business, primarily in the Nordics.
Telge Energi AB is a part of the Swedish Telge group currently owned by Södertälje municipality. Telge Energi is a clean electricity solutions provider supplying renewable energy to retail customers and households as well as small and mid-sized enterprise customers in Sweden.
