SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
By virtue of the notified concentration, TD Tech Data AB, Tech Data Norge AS and Tech Data Finland Oy, wholly owned subsidiaries of Tech Data Corporation, intends to acquire sole control over certain assets from Scribona AB (publ).
Both Tech Data and Scribona are distributors of IT products and related services.
Tech Data sells products to resellers and retailers in the Americas and in Europe, including the Nordic countries. Scribona has operations in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Thus, there is a horizontal overlap of the partiesí respective distribution businesses in the EEA, more specifically in Finland, Norway and Sweden.
The notified concentration is expected to bring about important and substantial efficiencies.
