Description of the concentration

On 1 March 2023, the Commission received notification of the proposed acquisition by funds managed by PAI Partners of sole control over Savory Solutions Group, currently owned by International Flavors & Fragrances. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:

PAI Partners: private equity firm, headquartered in Paris, France, that manages a number of funds investing in the business services, food & consumer products, general industrials and healthcare sectors. Through its controlled portfolio companies, PAI Partners generates revenue in many countries worldwide, notably in all EU Member States.

Savory Solutions Group: global supplier of savory solutions such as flavor solutions and functional solutions for industrial food processors (processed meat, fish, seafood, plant-based food solutions), for butchers, for foodservice providers, and for suppliers of convenience food.
