The notified transaction involves the acquisition by Blitz 13-202 AG, a newly-incorporated company established by funds managed by Cinven Capital Management (V) General Partner Limited (Cinven) of sole control of Heidelberger Lebensversicherung AG (HLE).
The business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
Cinven: a private equity business engaged in the provision of investment management services to a number of investment funds.
HLE: a company active in the provision of life insurance products in Germany.
