SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
1.1. The proposed concentration relates to the acquisition of sole control of MEI Group by Crane Co.
2.2. Crane Co Crane is a diversified manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products principally active in the following markets: aerospace, defence electronics, recreational vehicle transportation, automated merchandising (including unattended payment systems and vending machines), chemical, pharmaceutical, oil, gas, power, nuclear, building services and utilities.
3.3. MEI Group is active in the market for unattended payment systems. MEI Group is also active in the supply of traffic signals, but only in Japan, not the EEA.
