SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The Commission has received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) 139/2004 by which CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS S.A. ("CVC") would acquire sole control, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation, of AlixPartners, LLP (the "Target").
The primary business activities of the undertakings concerned are:
(i) for CVC: advice to and management of investment funds;
(ii) for Target: the provision of corporate consulting services to businesses.
