Description of the concentration
The transaction concerns the acquisition of joint control by Reggeborgh and Koninklijke Boskalis N.V. (Boskalis) over Visser & Smit Marine Contracting B.V. (VSMC). Reggeborgh currently exerts sole control over VSMC through Koninklijke Volker Wessels Stevin N.V.
Reggeborgh is an investment company with participations in many sectors. Its most important investments are in the non retail sales of petroleum products through Argos and construction services through Koninklijke Volker Wessels Stevin.
Boskalis is a global marine services provider operating in the dredging, maritime infrastructure, terminal services, slavage, transport, heavy lift and harbour towage sectors.
VSMC is active in the field of installation, maintenance and replacement of subsea power cables.
