Description of the concentration
The Commission has been notified of a transaction involving the acquisition of the entire share capital of Kemira GrowHow Oyj (GrowHow) by Yara International ASA (Yara) by way of public tender offer.
Yara is mainly active in the production and marketing of mineral fertilizers and related nitrogen-based chemicals.
GrowHow is active in the production of mineral fertilizers for crop cultivation feed phosphates for use in animal feed and related process chemicals for industrial use.
