SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
Fogeca Multiauto, SGPS, S.A. and Mapfre Mutualidad de Seguros y Reaseguros a Prima Fija (alternatively “the notifying parties” or “the parent companies”) have agreed to establish a JV which will engage in the following activities in Spain:
(i) Sale and purchase of new and used motor vehicles of various manufacturers and importers.
(ii) Sale of products and services related to the maintenance, sale of spare parts, and repair of cars of various manufacturers and importers.
(iii) Arrangement of, and intermediation in, MAPFRE motor insurance and financial products.
(iv) Acquisition and management of properties.
