SECTION 1.2

Description of the concentration

On September 19, 2016, Tech Data Corporation (“Tech Data”), a corporation headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, USA, announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Technology Solutions business of Avnet, Inc. (“Avnet TS”), also headquartered in the USA.

Tech Data and Avnet TS are both distributors of IT products, although their activities and geographical footprints are largely complementary. The Transaction will combine these complementary activities to deliver greater value to IT manufacturers and customers.
