Re:

By her action under Article 270 TFEU, the applicant seeks, first, annulment of the decision of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) of 1 April 2020 not to renew her contract and, secondly, compensation in respect of the non-material damage she claims to have suffered.

Operative part of the judgment

The Court:

1.Annuls the decision of the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) of 1 April 2020 not to renew the contract of KD;

2.Dismisses the action as to the remainder;

3.Orders EUIPO, in addition to bearing its own costs, to pay three quarters of the costs incurred by KD;

4.Orders KD to bear a quarter of her own costs.
