SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
On 17 August 2018, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 139/2004 (the “EUMR”) by which the undertaking Norsk Hydro ASA is to acquire sole control and joint control, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the EUMR of certain aluminium production assets of the Rio Tinto Group.
