SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The concentration to be notified consists of two simultaneous interrelated transactions, by means of which EQT Future and AM Fresh will acquire joint control, within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the Council Regulation, over SNFL, which will in turn acquire control over IFG. As a result, EQT Future and AM Fresh will acquire indirect joint control over SNFL and IFG.
SNFL and IFG are both active in the development and commercialization of protected varieties of table grapes vines. AM Fresh is present in activities related to the growing of fruits (including table grapes) in Spain, the wholesale commercialization of chilled fruits and the production and commercialization of juices, smoothies and healthy drinks for distributors own brand. EQT is a private equity fund manager.
