SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
1.Fosun International Limited ("Fosun") intends to indirectly acquire sole control over BHF Kleinwort Benson Group SA ("BHF-KB", formerly RHJ International SA) by way of a contested bid.
2.Fosun is a Chinese private equity investor and mainly invests in sectors, such as consumption and consumption upgrade, financial services, resources and energy, and manufacturing upgrade.
3.BHF-KB is the parent company of a financial services group with principal activities in wealth management, asset management as well as private and corporate banking.
