On 30 September 2014, the European Commission received notification of a contemplated concentration pursuant to Article 1.2 of the Merger Regulation by which VINCI Energies, a wholly owned subsidiary of VINCI, would acquire exclusive control of the Imtech ICT Group, which is the information and communication technology business division of the Royal Imtech Group.
The parties are respectively active in the following fields of activity:
– for VINCI: energy and information technology services (electrical engineering, limatic engineering and mechanical engineering, facility management, IT services); building, public works and civil engineering; concessions and infrastructures (mainly motorways and airports); road works;
– for Imtech ICT Group: IT services and more specifically software and licensing; hardware; consulting and implementation; managed services; software and hardware maintenance.
