SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
(1) On 15 February 2022, the European Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration concerning the proposed acquisition by Kronospan Holdings P.L.C. of 100% of the shares and sole control of Pfleiderer Polska sp. z o.o. within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the EUMR.
(2) Kronospan is a global manufacturer and supplier of wood-based panels and their further processed value-added products.
(3) Pfleiderer Polska produces a range of engineered wood and surface finished products, including raw and coated particleboards, thin and lacquered thin high-density fibreboards and components.
