By his action under Article 263 TFEU, the applicant seeks the annulment of Decision C(2024) 1658 final of the European Commission of 7 March 2024, adopted pursuant to Article 4 of the Detailed rules for the application of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents (OJ 2001 L 145, p. 43) and partially refusing the applicant’s confirmatory application for access to documents relating to the meeting which took place between the then Vice-President of the Commission – Ms Jourová – and the then President of the Ustavno sodišče (Constitutional Court, Slovenia) during Ms Jourová’s official visit to Slovenia between 1 and 3 March 2023.

The Court:

Annuls Decision C(2024) 1658 final of the European Commission of 7 March 2024, adopted pursuant to Article 4 of the Detailed rules for the application of Regulation (EC) No 1049/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 May 2001 regarding public access to European Parliament, Council and Commission documents, in so far as it refused access to a sentence on page 8 of the document entitled ‘briefing country visit (day 1), 1 March 2023’ and bearing the reference Ares (2024) 1820776;

Dismisses the action as to the remainder;

Orders Mr Milan Zver and the Commission each to bear their own costs.
