SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
1.On 22 June 2020, the Commission received a notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No 139/2004. Under the terms of the concentration, funds managed by Atlas FRM LLC (Atlas) intend to acquire sole control over Permasteelisa S.p.A.
The undertakings concerned have the following areas of activities.
(a) Atlas is a private investment firm. Atlas and its affiliates own and operate a diversified group of platform companies, including global manufacturing, distribution and construction businesses; and
(b) Permasteelisa S.p.A. is engaged in the façades construction business, including the design, production and installation of curtain-walls, architectural envelopes (i.e., curtain walls) and interiors.
