Description of the concentration
SHV Holdings N.V. (SHV) intends to acquire sole control of Mammoet Holding B.V. (Mammoet).
SHV is the Dutch holding company of a conglomerate whose group companies operate worldwide. SHV has activities in trade in and distribution of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), trade in food and non-food consumer articles, provision of private equity, trade in and production of raw materials and exploration and production of oil and gas. SHV is a privately held company and is headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands.
Mammoet is a contractor active in heavy lifting operations, heavy road and off road transport, rental of cranes, salvage and wreck removal and trade in new and used cranes and transport equipment. These activities focus on the petrochemical industry, civil construction sector, power plant facilities, offshore businesses and marine products. Mammoet a privately held company and is headquartered in Schiedam, the Netherlands.
