SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
1.1. The Commission has received notification of a proposed concentration under Article 4 of Council Regulation (EC) No. 139/2004 (the “EU Merger Regulation”) pursuant to which Rhône Capital LLC (“Rhône Capital”) will acquire sole control over the bakery supplies business of CSM N.y. (“CSMBS”). The transaction will therefore give rise to a concentration within the meaning of Article 3(1)(b) of the EU Merger Regulation.
2.2. This notification is being submitted by Rhône Capital.
3. The business activities of the undertakings concerned are as follows:
-– Rhône Capital is a private equity investment firm.
-– CSMBS is a global developer, manufacturer and supplier of bakery ingredients and products.
