SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The notified transaction involves the acquisition of the joint control of Pisto by Swiss Life, together with CNP Assurances through Infra Invest and Crédit Agricole through Predica Prévoyance Dialogue of Crédit Agricole, which already control Pisto on a jointly basis.
Swiss Life is active in the life insurance, risk, pensions, health insurance and asset management sectors.
CNP Assurances is active in the life and health insurance sector in France, particularly savings, retirement and pension risk.
Predica Prévoyance Dialogue is part of Crédit Agricole, a group offering a wide range of banking and insurance services.
Pisto is active in the management of facilities for the reception, storage and transfer of crude oil and refined products.
