Perdigão has activities in the meat and dairy sectors, as well as producing ready-to-use pastry, pies, pizza, puff-pastry and frozen vegetables. Perdigão controls manufacturing units in Brazil, Argentina, the UK, the Netherlands and Romania. The company has 10 sales offices outside Brazil, which are located in the UK, the Netherlands (two), Hungary, Austria, Italy, Russia, the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), Singapore and Japan, distribution centres in the Netherlands, UK, Italy and Portugal (Madeira) and more than 59,000 employees worldwide.
Sadia produces and distributes beef, pork, chicken and turkey products, as well as pasta, margarine and desserts. In addition to its Brazilian operations, Sadia also has industrial units in Neede, the Netherlands and in Kaliningrad, Russia. It has sales offices in 14 countries outside Brazil: Germany, Argentina, Austria, Chile, China, United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan, Portugal, Russia, Turkey, Uruguay and Venezuela and has approximately 60,000 employees worldwide.
Perdigão and Sadia both supply fresh (including frozen) and processed meat in the EU.
