1.On 14 July 2023, the Commission received notification of a proposed concentration pursuant to Article 4of the Merger Regulation by which Arsenal AIC Parent LLC, an investment vehicle indirectly controlled by investment funds managed by affiliates of Apollo Management, L.P. (the “Apollo Funds”). Apollo Management, L.P. (a subsidiary of Apollo Global Management, Inc. (together with its consolidated subsidiaries, “Apollo”)), will acquire sole control of Arconic Corporation (“Arconic”). The acquisition will allow Apollo to leverage its expertise and fund capital of the Apollo Funds to support Arconic in its next phase of growth.
