SECTION 1.2
Description of the concentration
The notified transaction consists in the acquisition of sole control over Aviva Life and Aviva Italia Servizi by CNP Assurances. In parallel with this transaction, CNP Assurances will also acquire joint control over Aviva S.p.A.
CNP Assurances develops, provides and manages insurance products globally. In Italy, CNP Assurances is mainly active in the provision of life insurance products.
Aviva Life is an insurance company belonging to the Aviva Plc’s group that provides life insurance products in Italy.
